This document explains the update procedure of PC Information Viewer.
Please perform the following procedure‚ in order to update.
1. Uninstall the present PC Information Viewer.
2. Extract the downloaded file‚ and install new PC Information Viewer.
♦Preparation
Log on with the administrator authority.
Close all applications.
♦How to uninstall
Uninstall the present PC Information viewer in the following procedures.
(1) Click Start每Control Panel每Uninstall a program每PC
Information Viewer‚ and then click Uninstall to remove the program.
(2) At the User Account Control screen‚ click Continue.
(3) When the message Do you want to completely remove ＃ is displayed‚
click Yes.
(4) When the message Uninstall Complete is displayed‚ confirm Yes‚
I want to restart my computer now. has been selected‚ and then click Finish.
♦How to install
Extract the downloaded file and install in the following procedures.
(The default destination is c:util2pcinfo folder.)
(1) Double每click setup.exe (displayed Application as Type).
(2) At the User Account Control screen‚ click Continue.
(3) When the message Welcome to the InstallShield ＃ is displayed‚
click Next.
(4) When the message Ready to install the Program is displayed‚
click Install.
(5) When the message InstallShield Wizard Complete is displayed‚ confirm
Yes‚ I want to restart my computer now. has been selected‚ and then
click Finish.
♦Note
After update‚ if it is impossible to save a copy of the screen to a file by
pressing Ctrl + Alt + F8‚ perform the following procedure.
1. Disable the Hot Keys in Graphic Options temporarily.
(1) Press Ctrl + Alt + F12.
(2) Click Hot Keys.
(3) Remove the check mark form Enable Hot Keys‚ and click Apply.
2. Set Shortcut key of Screen Copy again.
(1) Click Start每All Programs每Panasonic每PC Information Viewer.
(2) Right 每click Screen Copy‚ and then click Properties 每 Shortcut.
(3) Move the cursor to Shortcut key‚ press Ctrl + Alt + F7‚
and then click OK.
(4) At the Access Denied screen‚ click Continue.
(5) At the User Account Control screen‚ click Continue.
(6) Repeat (1) to (5)‚ and set the key Ctrl + Alt + F8 again.
3. Enable the Hot Keys in Graphic Options.
(1) Add the check mark for Enable Hot keys‚ and click OK.
